On December 4, “Komarovi” School Team ( Sergo Poliakov, Mariam Chilaia,rnAna Kokhreidze team leader- Giorgi Lomidze) returned from Switzerland. The team won the competition “ tournament in physics”, organized by the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science. Deputy Minister L. Gigauri accompanied the team at CERN Laboratory( CMS and Atlas experiments). They received general information about the devices( detectors)  and equipment used in experiments.

An English-speaking guide, a Georgian scientist in CERN Sopho Pataraia  was delivering  the lectures. The team also met other Scientists working at CERN, the number of our scientist at present is about 30, which is a source of pride  for our country. Among them are some Komarovi graduates. The scientists shared their experience with the students. The team also visited  a Georgian Scientist Irakli Minashvili Science Lab, where they had the opportunity to hold a teaching experiment on cosmic particle accounting.

Within the project the students saw the sightseeing  in Geneva.
